Catherine, Princess of Wales makes a speech whilst hosting a forum to mark World Mental Health Day at Factory Works

Kate Middletonput thought into every detail of the outfit she wore on World Mental Health Day, when she andPrince Williamstepped out for the Royal Foundation event,Exploring our Emotional Worlds.

On Tuesday, the Princess of Wales was seen wearing a plain black top and black trousers paired with a bright yellow L.K. Bennett jacket and accessorized with star-shaped earrings.

In addition to the earringshaving a meaningful connectionto the day’s events, which included a forum with workshops and discussions about mental well-being, the blazer’s pop of color was chosen to honor the occasion.

Kate, 41, wore yellow as a nod to theannual #HelloYellow campaign, which was launched to support the YoungMinds charity and raise awareness about young people’s mental well-being on World Mental Health Day.

According to The Source— a website been created to provide information, advice and support for young people in Suffolk, England — #HelloYellow’s 2023 theme was to “stand out and show up for young people’s mental health.”

Prince William, Prince of Wales and Catherine, Princess of Wales join young people as they participate in a series of workshops which focus on emotions, relationships and community action as they host a forum to mark World Mental Health Day at Factory Works

Not only did Kate stand out while participating in various workshops focused on emotions, relationships and community action, butshe spoke about"building a brighter, more resilient future" through the power of continued support and open discussions about issues facing today’s youth.

“Today, more people feel empowered to talk about their mental health than ever before,” she said during Tuesday’s forum at Birmingham’s Factory Works. “This is a major step forward. William and I continue to be inspired to see young people, like you all here today, leading this charge – being particularly brave in having some of those conversations yourselves.”

She added, “As a generation, you value and talk more about your mental health than any before you – something we truly admire and applaud.”

While touring Robert Clack School in east London ahead of International Women’s Day in 2020, the debate squad gave the Duchess of Sussex, 42, the navy blue and white varsity letterman jacket.

For Tuesday’s outing, Meghan paired the collegiate look with an all-black ensemble consisting of Frame skinny jeans, a simple shirt and Mary Jane pumps.

In addition to their stop in Brooklyn, Meghan and Harry, 39, led their Archewell Foundation’s first-ever in-person event, which took place the same day as William, 41, and Kate’s forum. DubbedThe Archewell Foundation Parents’ Summit: Mental Wellness in a Digital Age, itwas aimed at giving voiceto families who want to build a safer online world for children and teens.
