If people hold opinions aboutNick Cannon’srelationships, they simply don’t matter toBre Tiesi.
The reality star, 32, opened up to several of herSelling Sunsetcastmates over dinner during the seventh season’s first episode. Tiesi shares 16-month-old son Legendary with the formerWild N' Outhost.
“I love Nick. I’m happy with my relationship, however that is, and like, if I date, I date,” she explained.
WhenEmma Hernanasked whether Nick would mind if she dated other people, Tiesi responded simply, “I don’t know. Maybe.”

“Wait. You’ve got to be kidding me. That’s not fair,” Stause said.
“I mean, I do what I want to do, but I still would never disrespect Nick. I just wouldn’t,’ Tiesi continued. “And even his situations and stuff, I’ve always been nothing but respectful of that. I know people don’t get it, and I don’t care that people don’t get it.”

“It’s kind of like a new age power position,” Stause added, which Tiesi agreed with. “You don’t need anything from anyone. Your child is obviously well taken care of. You’re not looking for, you know, any kind of hole to be filled. You’re fulfilling yourself.”
“Well, maybe we could tell Chelsea that,” Tiesi quipped, referring to her feud withChelsea Lazkaniin season 6.

In one episode last season, Lazkanishared her thoughtson Tiesi’s family situation: “I find Nick Cannon and Bre’s relationship rather off-putting. Ultimately the way I live my life is very different to her as a Christian, so I don’t know if we will ever be super, super close friends.”
Lazkani also referred to Cannon as a “master manipulator” and claimed “creating multiple broken homes is disgusting.” Later in the sixth season over a group dinner, she told Tiesi to her face that she thinks it’s “unfair” for kids to be born into a situation where their father isn’t fully present. Tiesi, in response, shot back that she didn’t have to “succumb to your acceptance of my relationship.”
In addition to Legendary and Onyx, Cannon is also dad to twinsMonroe and Moroccan, 12, with exMariah Carey, whom he was married to from 2008 to 2016. He is also a father to sonsGolden Sagon, 6, daughterPowerful Queen, 2, andRise Messiah, 13 months, with Brittany Bell.

Tiesi has previously addressed misconceptions onSelling Sunsetabout her relationship with Cannon, disclosing that she takes care of herself financially. “If my son needs something, or we do, I ask; that’s all I have to do. I know he’s a good dad, and Nick is not my sugar daddy. Nick is not the reason I’m where I’m at."
