Sheryl Lee Ralphhas her sights set on some A-listers to joinAbbott Elementary.
The sitcom star, 67, toldVarietyon the red carpet ahead of Monday’sEmmy Awardswho her dream guest stars would be on the hit ABC series – and they’re both Oscar winners.
“I really wantDenzel [Washington]as my brother,” she said, though she admitted that while she really just wants the actor “to show up,” she hasn’t actually asked him to make an appearance.
Ralph then revealed that she “heard there’s a possibility” ofMeryl Streepmaking a cameo, which gives her hope for Washington, 69, too. “I mean, if it can be Meryl, I mean, it can be Denzel!”
As for who she’d want Streep, 74, to play on the show she said she doesn’t know, but reacted positively to the suggestion she plays her sister. “My stepsister. That would be nice. How ‘bout that?”

Ultimately, Ralph said that while she and her castmates “have so many ideas,” it’s all in the more than capable hands of creator and starQuinta Brunson— whomade history at the Emmys with her outstanding actress in a comedy series win.
“Quinta is absolutely the visionary and she knows exactly who fits perfectly in this show, so I lean onto her,” Ralph said. “But I can have my fantasies!”
