*NSYNCis heating things up!

As *NSYNC “take on the wings of death,” Evans grills them about how they formed their band. “How would you break down the vocal ranges and sonic mechanics that go into making a great boy band?” he asks.

Chris Kirkpatrick gives an equal-parts honest and hilarious answer: “We knew we sucked at singing certain things, so it was like we just fell into our spots. I knew I’d be the high stuff, these guys would do the leads, Joey would be in the middle and Lance would be on the base.”

Evans then brings up a touchy point for the old friends and veteran boy band singers. “Though cut from the final edit, is it true that *NSYNC was cast as Jedi Warriors inStar Wars: Attack of the Clones?” The camera cuts to Timberlake and Bass, who squirm awkwardly. “Now we’re getting to the nitty-gritty questions,” Timberlake says.

Kirkpatrick and Chasez simultaneously respond, “heck yeah,” while Timberlake says, “Me and Lance were so butt hurt, so when you guys got cut out we were like,” he says of the inside joke while giving a satisfied laugh and smile.
