Mike “The Situation” Sorrentinois getting some support from hisJersey Shorecastmates.

On Friday, as Sorrentino began the second month of hiseight-month prison sentence,Jenni “JWoww” Farleywrote a sweet note to her friend and costar on Instagram.

“Hey @mikethesituation Miss u,” the reality starcaptioned the selfie,which featured her wearing a sweatshirt with Sorrentino’s face on it that read “Free Sitch.”

Joining JWoww, 32, in expressing how much she missed Sorrentino was fellow castmateNicole “Snooki” Polizzi, who commented “SAME.” on the post.

Sorrentino’s new wife,Lauren Pesce, also commented, but kept it simple with a red heart emoji.

Sorrentino, 36, and his brother Marcwere indictedin September 2014for tax offensesand conspiring to defraud the United States after allegedly failing to properly pay taxes on $8.9 million in income from 2010 to 2012. In April 2017, both menwere indicted on additional chargesincluding tax evasion, structuring and falsifying records.

Sorrentinopled guiltyto one count of tax evasion in January 2018, and his brother Marc pled guilty to one count of aiding in the preparation of a false and fraudulent tax return. In October 2018, Sorrentino wassentenced to eight months in prisonand two years of supervised release, and Marc wassentenced to two years.

The reality star was also ordered to complete 500 hours of community service and was given $123,913 in restitution, which he has already paid, plus a fine of $10,000.

Since reportingto the Otisville Federal Correctional Institutionin New York on Jan. 15, Sorrentino’s castmates and wife have all kept his fans in the loop on how he’s doing.

On Jan. 17, just two days after the star was put behind bars, Pesce said thather husband was “doing great”and thanked his fans for their “unbelievable outpouring of love and support.”

“We speak everyday & he’s doing great,” Pesce, 34, wrote. “He’s received thousands of letters, he won’t be able to respond to everyone but wanted to express his gratitude to each and everyone of you.”

The pair alsoshared a video to their YouTube channelon Jan. 21, which was taken on their drive to the New York-based prison. In theemotional clip, Sorrentino shared his thoughts ahead of his sentencing and his plans to come out as a new man.

“The day before [my prison sentence began] was the only day I felt any anxiety,” Sorrentino admitted. “Today I have a sense of just happy to put this behind me.”

“I’m gonna workout every day, get in shape, and get ready to go back and film season three – that’s it,” he added. “The Situation will reveal himself in 2019. Currently under construction, but will be revealed. Under new management now.”

Recently, Guadagnino, 31,spoke to TMZabout Sorrentino and echoed Pesce’s sentiments, explaining that he never had any doubts about his friend, whom he said he planned on visiting in prison soon.

“I knew he was gonna do good; he was never nervous about it,” he revealed. “Lauren told us that he’s doing great. They’re updating us on Twitter and Instagram so he’s gonna be alright.”

“He’s so strong mentally from his recovery process that it’s working out for him in jail,” Guadagnino added. “Mike is the type of guy now that looks for the positive in every situation.”
