And while Bündchen admits that her boyfriend welcoming a son with an ex wasn’t an “ideal situation” at the time, shewouldn’t go back and change a thing.

“There’s no manual to prepare you for that,” Bündchen told PEOPLE in September 2018. “But I’m so grateful for [Bridget]. I know this was hard, but I couldn’t imagine my life without [Jack]. I call him my bonus child.”

“He opened my heart in ways I didn’t even know my heart could expand,” she added. “I fell in love with him.”

Moynahan has also expressed her gratitude for maintaining a stable relationship with Brady and Bündchen over the years.

“I have a relationship with these people on a daily basis. I’m raising a child, and it’s public,” shesaid in 2011. “My son has two loving parents and an extended family, whether it’s cousins or stepmothers or boyfriends.”

Along with Jack, Brady and Bündchen share daughterVivian Lake, 6, and sonBenjamin Rein, 9.

“I think from the very beginning the whole goal specifically was to always keep it positive,” Moynahan told PEOPLE of co-parenting. “To raise a son in the healthiest environment, and I know we’ve all done that, and it shows. I always encourage everyone to stay positive and understand you have to make the kids priority.”

Moynahan, meanwhile, married businessman Andrew Frankel in 2015, and together they raise Jack and his three sons from a previous relationship.

“[It’s] a lot of boys in the house,” she said. “There are just photographs and essays and letters all over the house, and they were very patient with the organized chaos that I had going on there.”
