Finally ! After two installment of CG monster facial expression of the week , Grimm is back and catch its hands ill-gotten ! I was authentically surprised and highly entertained by the route and translation of this calendar week ’s fairy story , Hansel and Gretel . Instead of a cannibal hag thirsty for the flesh of footling boy and girls , Nick must defend an underground organ harvesting crowd who get off on the screech of their victims ! This was well the best installment of Grimm yet .
The sequence style “ Organ Grinder ” had a lot of great things going for it . For one , it was actually pretty shivery . After a dead adolescent is discovered floating down a river , the death is connect to a black market place organ trafficking mathematical operation that preys on roofless teens . Or at least the pig THOUGHT it was electronic organ trafficking . What Nick discovers is a clan of Geiers , monsters who rip out and sell dried - up human organs for fiend sex - devising etc . — “ like powdered rhino saddle horn . ” The best part , they care to cut open their victims while they ’re still alive . Nasty small beasties .
The Geier brood had a pretty cagey , running the townspeople ’s complimentary clinic , thus giving them the plectrum of the homeless teen litter . Valerie Cruz cameoed as the “ evil hag . ” And as a nice nod to the source fabric , she meet her end in a elephantine pit of fire while fighting with Nick . But we ’re flummox forrader of ourselves .
Another quality cameo in this episode was , Daryl Sabara who play Hansen , brother to Gracie . GET IT ? You get it . Sabara is a brilliant up - and - come up actor in Hollywood . If you do n’t conceive us , go watch World ’s Greatest Dad ; he ’s absolutely insane in it . It ’s a respectable day whenever we get to see Sabara on concealment , and he play protective brother very well .

About damned time . What ’s the spot of being a terrifying Grimm if you ’re never run low to cash that check ? We did a cartoony spit - take when Nick smash up the chemist stash of human bits . Absolutely awful . And the fun did n’t stop there — afterward on Nick threaten one of the Geiers with this excellent crinkle , “ calculate at me , very closely . I know what you are … I’m not asking you as a fuzz so do n’t ask me to behave as one ! ” Good for you Nick ! We ’d rather he get around the law this mode , as opposed to his usual “ entering with out a sanction ” put-on . Be the tough AS Grimm .

Meanwhile , Pilates Wolf finally called out Nick for being a selfish opus of scraps . It ’s about meter .
Yes , we get laid this whole aspect was more or less a funny “ oh look they ’re just like a married pair ” bid , and it was cute . And after all that amazing work , a wonderful fight scene , a endearing and clever queen tale translation , and even a small bit of Juliet persona construction , Generic Partner Cop adjudicate his operose to redden it all down the toilet with one “ Yeah , this Ithiel Town definitely is have eldritch , ” sally . This is his big takeaway ? This is what he thinks while eyeball the jarred remain inside the human consistency shop ? There are pile of burn bodies not 15 base outside the front threshold , eldritch does n’t even begin to describe this horror . This guy has just get to go , or determine better thing to say ASAP . Overall , “ Organ Grinder ” is best episode we ’ve seen from Grimm . Fairy tale are dreaded ; murders are horrific , and for the first time , it felt like Grimm was shooting for existent revulsion , and gain the mark .
