Christina and Ant Anstead are celebratingone year of wedded bliss— and they are still in loveas the day they first met.
On Sunday, the couple marked the one year anniversary of them tying the knot ina surprise wedding ceremonyat their home in Newport Beach, California. Aftera whirlwind romance, the wedding came a little over a year after they first started dating.
“Holy smokes!!!! A year ago! And What a year! ?? We have done enough for several life times! I am blessed, I am lucky, I am loved, I am full, I am happy, I am yours. You saved me and you complete me!!!! ??❤️???? you are PERFECT!!! My wife! ? x,” Ant wrote along with aseries of highlightsfrom their wedding day.

On their wedding day, the couple wanted to make sure their blended family was incorporated in the ceremony.
Christina shares sonBrayden James, 4, and daughterTaylor Reese, 9, with ex-husbandTarek El Moussa, and Ant is a father to son Archie, 13, and daughter Amelie, 16, with his ex Louise. Each child had their own special role to play in the December nuptials.
“It’s the six of us,” Ant told PEOPLE at the time. “So it was really important for them to be a part of it.” Taylor was the flower girl, Archie was the ring bearer, and Amelie walked with Brayden down the aisle.
The couple also couldn’t say “I do” without their French bulldog, Cash, who wore a custom tuxedo for his walk down the aisle.
In order to keep theirhush-hush weddinga secret, the couple invited 70 of their friends and family members over to their house, telling them they were going to watch a boat parade.
But when the guests arrived, they saw rows of white chairs neatly arranged in the front yard, rose petals leading to an elegant floral arch, and an elegant tent in the backyard with a table for a steak dinner.

Ant, slipped into place next to the pastor, cheekily quipped “Got ya!” to the crowd. Once Christina made her way down the aisle and joined her husband-to-be, she exclaimed, “Surprise! We’re getting married!”
While walking down the aisle to the song “Stand By Me,” Christina carried a bouquet of pale pink and white peonies to compliment her wedding look.

The pairwelcomed their first child together, a son named Hudson London, on September 6, 2019.
“It’s so amazing that we get to raise a child together,” Christinatold PEOPLE over the summer, prior to Hudson’s arrival. “All of the kids are so excited. I love all the fun chaos and a full house. I always thought I would only have two, and now I’ll have five!”

“The great thing about being married to somebody like Christina is thatwe both are on the same page,” Ant said. “We’re both energetic, we’re both busy, we’re both 100 miles an hour. And we both believe that you have to put time aside for each other. There’s a synchronicity there that works.”
“We make sure that outside of work we absolutely spend as much time as possible together,” Ant said. “We eat together, we talk an awful lot. When you just love someone’s company it doesn’t matter what you’re doing.”
“We don’t have to fill the gaps,” he added. “I’m just happy being with her.”
