Chrissy Teigen‘s daughterLuna Simoneis lovin’ it!
On Thursday night, theLip Sync Battlehost, 33, treated her 2½-year-old daughter to aMcDonald‘s Happy Meal and it was Luna’s first time trying the meal and toy box.
Teigen recorded the “emotional” moment that they received the Happy Meal from the McDonald’s drive-thru employee and thenshared the videoto her Twitter account.
But while it may have been Luna’s first Happy Meal, Teigen made sure to note it was definitely not her daughter’s first time eating a french fry.
“Luna, look! Lu, it’s your first Happy Meal! Do you see the box?” Teigen asked, as she handed the box towards Luna and Teigen’s motherVilailuck, who were sitting in the backseat of the car.
“This is my first french fries!” Luna matter-of-factly responded back.
“It’s not your first french fries, it’s your first Happy Meal,” Teigen clarified in the dimly-lit clip.
To go along with the adorable video, Teigen wrote, “Luna’s first happy meal I don’t know why I’m emotional. I just remember these simpler days,” before jokingly adding, “#NOTYOURFIRSTFRY”

Teigen has recently been struggling to find foods that her picky toddler will eat.
In December, theCravingsauthor vented on Twitter about her daughter’s very particular appetite and asked her followers for meal suggestions.
The mom of two, who also has 8-month-old sonMiles Theodorewith husbandJohn Legend, admitted she was going to great lengths to come up with an answer.

“I’m spending my days making a menu, cooking and plating every meal and taking pics so my DARLING ANGEL will eat something WHO HAVE I BECOME … I just love projects,” Teigen wrote.
“A binder of laminated photoswith TODDLER FOOD onPeppa Pig plates. A MENU FOR MY DAUGHTER. I actually didn’t realize how insane this was til I started typing it,” she concluded.
That same day, Luna gave coconut chicken tenders and broccoli a try. “Coconut chicken tenders for toons. Man even portrait mode can’t save this. I tried,” Teigenposted on Instagram.
But it seems Teigen still hasn’t mastered the art of finding foods to feed her toddler.
On Friday, the cookbook author posted an appetizing photo to her Instagram Stories of a creamy pasta dish with a side of parmesan cheese on a “Luna” purple plate.

“Update: she did not eat a single bite,” Teigen explained of the meal. “Today might have been in my Top 1 days of toughest days with Luna.”
Trying to satisfy Luna’s taste buds is helpful research for Teigen, who wrote her second cookbook with the aim of creating easy meals for parents. At the New York City Wine and Food Festival in October, the model revealed that she had undertaken the new project with children specifically in mind.
“I really wanna make it awesome,” she said. “I know kids have really simple palates and we all want to make them more refined, but they’re just kids, so we’re gonna dostuff that kids are going to love.”
“It’s going to be so good,” Teigen noted. “Hopefully it’s Luna-approved.”
