American Horror Story ’s tenth season , Double Feature , arrives August 25 on FX , but there ’s a little(r ) something coming sooner that should more than lunar time period fan over : American Horror Stories , a tailspin - off series of the Ryan Murphy juggernaut . Whilewe already knewthe series , which Murphydescribed in May 2020as “ one time of day contained episodes , ” was on the horizon , the FX on Hulu show shared a trailer today confirm some of the mold , as well as some very intriguing fictitious character names .

They rip by pretty tight , but the standouts are American Horror Story veterinary surgeon like Matt Bomer , John Carrol Lynch , Naomi Grossman , and Billie Lourd — playing characters whose names do n’t think much out of linguistic context — and then Amy Grabow as former Second Lady ( and , as every fry who longed to listen to heavy metallic element or hip hop in the eighties will never forget , ill-famed “ maternal consultatory ” crusader ) Tipper Gore , as well asDanny “ Machete ” Trejoas … Santa . There ’s also some stunt molding that was already report ( Paris Jackson , daughter of Michael Jackson , and Kaia Gerber , daughter of Cindy Crawford ) and a few other famous names , like Joel McHale , among a sea of up - and - comers .
The Tweet ’s line that “ this is n’t even the one-half of it ” suggests there ’ll be more to come , but whether or not American Horror Stories spills the bean in advance of time is something only the social medium idol can resolve at the moment . At any rate , the series — rumor to be composed of “ standalone touch stories”—will be here on July 15 .
