Brandanis ready to take the next step in his relationship withMary— but she seemed anything but sure.
In PEOPLE’s exclusive sneak peek at Monday night’s90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way, Brandan admits he is “getting cold feet all of a sudden” as he prepares to propose to Mary.
“This has been a long time coming and I just wanted to basically say that you know I love you and I don’t know how else to say this other than to just, you know, kind of show you,” he says as he opens a ring box.

“What’s that?” Mary asks.
Brandan responds, “Hopefully, if you say yes, this is, like, your engagement ring.”
As she looks stone-faced, Brandan finally pops the question, saying, “I didn’t rehearse this at all. I just — will you marry me, Mary?”

While viewers will have to watch Monday’s episode to find out Mary’s answer, it doesn’t look promising that her face turns a scowl as the clip concludes.
Mary also explained why she decided to lose her virginity before marriage despite her family’s conservative beliefs. “Brandon is here now in person, and I really love him and I feel ready to give my all to him," she said. “You know, we’re humans.”
Brandan said he was immediately confident about fatherhood when they decided to start trying. That said, he did admit in a confessional interview that his perspective had shifted a bit since Mary actually became pregnant.
